Danish feed company, Aller Aqua and Porto Conte Ricerche have extended their research collaboration until 2016. At the research institute located on Sardinia, feeding trials with Mediterranean fish species are conducted under optimal conditions.

\"Together with Porto Conte Ricerche, we have founded a creative and promising collaboration that we wish to further explore in the coming years. Our shared ambition is on-going progress and development of valuable fish feeds for Mediterranean species”, says Hanno Slawski, Director of Research and Development of the ALLER AQUA Group.

Sea bass and sea bream remain the cornerstones of aquaculture in the Mediterranean. Experiments conducted at Porto Conte Ricerche focus on environmentally adapted feed types and functional additives. New raw materials are also investigated and their impact on fish performance, health and quality is evaluated.
