A new aquaculture feed mill was opened in Sri Lanka, according to local news. The facility, that was donated by the UN Food and Agriculture Organization, has a production capacity of 500 kilo per hour. The feed mill is aimed at supporting the country’s growing aquaculture production.
The feed produced will use discards and waste fish from the fish market at Peliyagoda with the assistance of the National Aquatic Resources Research and Development Agency (NARA).
