The Ministry of Produce announced a fishing suspension of five days in a new area of the Peruvian ocean.
The Peruvian Maritime Institute (Imarpe) conducted a study of the region and found a population of anchovy with 47% juveniles and therefore announced the suspension. The report entitled, “Impact of Youth Anchovy in the Northern Region-Peruvian Marine Center” was written up between April 17-19.
