The international panel of judges was impressed that this new product from Tovalia Intelscan, Brignais, France, measures exact density of individual extruded pellets; provides online and continuous measurements of the pellet size to monitor the performance of the extruder and measures the shininess of the pellets to determine oil absorption

The iScan IM has already proved its performance in the aquaculture industry as it has been used to measure and count live salmon fry as they are pumped fast from one tank to another.
