Innovations in trout feed, work improving feed efficiency and investigations targeted at antibiotic replacement products were among the projects highlighted by the USDA in a report on department research, according to Ann Bartuska, the acting undersecretary of research, education and economics at the USDA.

“We have multiple agencies at USDA almost all of them produce innovation in one way or another,” stated Bartuska in an interview with Feed Navigator. 

The Annual Report on Technology Transfer covers the outcomes of work done or supported by several agencies within the department.
