Victam Asia 2008 & Feed Ingredients and Additives Asia Pacific 2008 gather momentum

Since the launch of these two exhibitions and conferences at Victam International 2007 in May both events have seen strong interest from exhibitors.

In just over five weeks 40 major international companies have confirmed their participation at the shows. Already the exhibition space reserved by these companies has exceeded 1100 sqm, half the current exhibition space available.

The event was last held in 2006 and comprised 128 exhibitors, however the total area occupied by these 128 companies was 2000 sqm. Current exhibitors have increased the area of their stands in order to show increased product/equipment lines and also to provide larger customer liaison areas. This clearly indicates the importance of the Asia/Pacific market to the exhibitors.

It is anticipated that with the present space reservations and with the interest shown from other companies, the event will be sold out soon.

The exhibitions will also be supported by a number of conferences. Their subjects will
include: animal feed processing and additives, petfood processing and additives as well as a separate conference organised by the Thai Department of Livestock in conjunction with the Thai Feed Mill Association - and Aquafeed Horizons Asia 2008, a one-day technical symposium.

Besides the new feed additive event FIAAP 2008, there will be a sponsored Internet café at the shows; this will be open to all visitors free of charge.
