NEC Networks & System Integration Corporation, completed the construction of the group’s first land-based salmon facility, the Fuji/Katsuragawa Factory.

The company has been granted an aquaculture permit for the production of 10 million salmon smolts and 20,000 tonnes of harvested salmon on land at Brennholmen.

The Icelandic company operates its own hatchery and recently announced expansion plans.
